IEEE Student Branch STB62961 successfully organized a National Science Day event on February 28, 2025, at IET, Lucknow. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Vineet Kansal, Director, IET, along with Prof. Subodh Wairya, Head of the Department ECE, and Prof. Neelam Srivastava, IEEE Senior Member and Branch Counsellor. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, research scholars, and students.
Aligned with the 2025 theme, "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat," the event emphasized nurturing young minds through education and innovation. A special awareness program was conducted for underprivileged children, reinforcing the role of education in shaping the future.
The event featured knowledgeable sessions on science and the environment, followed by an engaging quiz competition. To encourage learning, educational kits were distributed to all participating students, while the winners of the quiz received exciting prizes. The celebration successfully inspired young minds and reinforced the significance of scientific learning in building a developed India.
